Using Oddwink’s shared-phone games: local progress, group play and information to confirm before publication.
The current service
Oddwink offers browser-based games for friends using one shared phone. The catalogue distinguishes playable games from concepts under development. This version has no accounts, payments or online multiplayer. Each game’s rules explain its roles, sequence and results.
Playing together
Play with everyone’s agreement. Choose nicknames suitable for the group, respect other players and allow anyone to skip or stop. Avoid sensitive information and humiliating content. The games are for entertainment; scores are not a real assessment of a person.
Game progress and availability
Games are not saved. Reloading resets their state; closing the page, a browser issue or an interruption may lose progress. This prototype may change or contain defects. Continuous availability, saved progress and compatibility with every device are not promised. These technical limitations are not intended to exclude mandatory legal rights.
The phone and private information
The person holding the phone should pass it on a hidden handoff screen and let other players view their information privately. Confidentiality also depends on the group’s behaviour and device security. The privacy notice describes the data-handling limitations in more detail.
Content and components
The games, text and illustrations included form part of this prototype; their rights and the availability of the Oddwink name must be checked before commercial distribution. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licences, including MIT-licensed Heroicons. The secret-word and social deduction modes use names and presentation adapted for Oddwink. The corpus also includes pairs from a user-provided list whose authorship and rights have not been established. A bilingual selection was composed for the initial version; the historical provenance of every earlier element could not be established. The mechanics are not claimed to be wholly new. Rights, names and distribution terms require review before publication; no legal outcome or store approval is guaranteed. No 3D mascot model has been delivered or claimed at this stage.
Details to confirm before publication
The publisher’s identity and contact details, support contact, country of establishment, intended audience and any age-related rules, hosting, information requirements, governing law and dispute-resolution arrangements still need to be defined from the actual circumstances. No exclusive-jurisdiction clause, fixed liability cap or waiver of consumer rights is set out here.
